Having lived in the north Oxfordshire village of Hook Norton for 25 years it is only natural that I have many images of various aspects of the village taken in all seasons. St Peter’s Church dates back over 1000 years while some of the houses are over 300 years old. However, given the lack of housing in the UK, the village has had its fair or perhaps unfair share of new builds in the time that we have been living here. The answer seems to lie in the fact that the local district council does not have an adequate housing supply leading to new builds in a number of villages. As Hook Norton has many amenities it is perhaps being singled out for more new houses than other villages. This is not a political website but merely a showcase for my photography!
